Academic Programs
International Studies students are widely recognized for academic talent and vigor. As well as embodying excellence, our students earn a broad, forward-thinking education while undertaking a demanding liberal arts curriculum.
Currently, there are over 1,000 International Studies majors at Ohio State, making it one of the most popular academic programs chosen by undergraduates. Our students can choose from ten major specializations, eight minor specializations, or a certificate of study. The program also offers a separate major and minor in Globalization Studies. International Studies majors are required to undertake training and develop language proficiency beyond the university minimum of all Arts and Sciences undergraduates.
