Nearly 3,000 alumni have graduated from the International Studies program since its inception in 1943. Alumni have prospered in sectors such as business, government, academic, and the nonprofit community, and have traveled to or reside in many different countries. Enormous breadth exists in the types of professions chosen by our former students.
Alumni have left Ohio State to become judges, business executives, nonprofit and NGO leaders, teachers, professors, pilots, and defense and security specialists, among many noteworthy professions, and we proudly claim the first Macedonian ambassador to the United States.
We encourage you to join Ohio State's Alumni Association and become part of a long tradition of alumni connecting with their alma mater and each other. You’ll help strengthen Ohio State’s position as one of the world’s premier public universities through programs that support academic excellence, student scholarships and recruitment, and service and leadership to undergraduates. And you’ll enjoy benefits including valuable discounts, special services, and Ohio State Alumni Magazine.
