Join us for a talk as we explore career options in the intelligence and security field, hosted by Sharla Sorensen. Sharla is an Air Force trained All-Source intelligence analyst with 15 years of experience leading intelligence production and training teams, developing extensive intelligence training programs, Multi-intelligence (Multi-INT) assessment analysis, human intelligence (HUMINT) and open source intelligence (OSINT) analysis/integration, and geospatial intelligence (GEOINT) analysis at the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC). Previously, she was a team member for multiple regional support teams within a Multi-INT Exploitation Flight at NASIC as a multi-intelligence analyst. Her responsibilities included providing multi-intelligence pattern of life characterization for various customers, organizing and tasking requirements, and managing the execution analyst training development, education, and implementation. She also acted as the lead data analyst at MITRE in a data fusion cell; leading projects on supply chain risk management, foreign influence, pattern of life, data analysis, foreign technology development, and others. Her experience also includes joint service in counterintelligence and counter-proliferation as an Office of Special Investigations Analyst with the Air Force Office of Special Investigations 1st Field Investigations Red Eye Task Force. She currently works as a Lead Counterintelligence Specialist for GE Aerospace in the Global Security Operations Center. 

Sharla holds a Master of Professional Studies in Applied Intelligence from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Science in Geography with a minor in Military Studies from Park University.  She is also a graduate of the Community College of the Air Force in Intelligence Studies &Applied Technology, as well as the All-Source Intelligence Analyst Technical School of the United States Air Force.
