Ohio State's National Security Simulation, sponsored by the Mershon Center for International Security Studies, is now accepting applications for student participants. The 2025 competition will take place October 23-25, 2025 at OSU's Fawcett Center.
Held every other year in the fall, the National Security Simulation (Sim) is an unforgettable two-day, real-time role-play and professional training experience. 200 participants step into policy, diplomacy, intelligence, communications, military, and management roles in government, the media, and the private sector to address realistic intelligence & media scenarios. Get hands-on experience with governance at the federal, state, and local levels while networking with real-world professionals and fellow students from colleges across campus.
All Ohio State juniors and senior with a serious interest in governance, national & international security, public policy, crisis management, the media, professional ethics, and related issues are welcome to apply. Submit your application to the Mershon Center by September 10, at 8:00pm ET.
