International studies majors and minors of junior standing or above are cordially invited to apply to the Gamma Sigma Chapter of Sigma Iota Rho (SIR), the national honor society for international studies. A minimum GPA of 3.4 is required. 

The purpose of Sigma Iota Rho shall be to promote and reward scholarship and service among students and practitioners of international studies, international affairs, and global studies as well as to foster integrity and creative performance in the conduct of world affairs. 

Informational meetings will be held on the following dates in 22 Townshend Hall: 

• Monday, February 13 at 8:00 p.m.
• Tuesday, February 14 at 7:00 p.m.
• Tuesday, February 21 at 6:00 p.m.
