CameroonFest: Three Returned Peace Corps Volunteers Share their Experiences
For all the many universal experiences that characterize Peace Corps service across geography and generations, each volunteer’s experience is also entirely unique. This is true even for volunteers serving in the same country.
Join our webinar to hear how three volunteers’ experiences in the West African nation of Cameroon were influenced by regional differences, job descriptions, community character and by the diverse backgrounds of the volunteers themselves.
Mary Rodriguez, currently an associate professor in the department of Agricultural Communication, Education and Leadership, worked in agriculture, environment, and income generation from 2010-2012.
Alexander Amador was an agriculture volunteer from 2015-2017, promoting crop production and animal husbandry, and is now a third year veterinary medicine student at OSU.
Jamie Rice served from 2006-2008 in agroforestry, environmental and health education 2006-2008, and is currently a data analyst at Chase Bank.
