Oana joined the International Studies program in January 2020 after a 12-year hiatus from advising. Her main responsibilities are advising students on academic issues and helping them navigate the fastest way to graduation. She also co-teaches the International Studies freshman seminar. She most enjoys challenging students to challenge themselves by stepping out of their comfort zone. In previous roles, Oana worked with professionals from all over the world and became an expert in US immigration. She has always been interested in interacting with people from different cultural and educational backgrounds.

Outside of work, Oana enjoys traveling with her family, discovering new places in the US, and learning about natural approaches to health and essential oils.
