Emily joined the International Studies program in January 2025. She keeps International Studies up and running by managing finances, developing marketing & communications, running student programming, and generally creating order from chaos. Emily is a linguist by training and has spent her career working in higher ed program management & international education, most recently starting a study abroad provider focused on language programs. Emily speaks Russian and Spanish, and has spent time working and studying in Russia (St. Petersburg and Vladimir), Costa Rica (San Jose), and England (Leeds). She is also a proud alumna of the US State Department's Critical Language Scholarship Program. 

Outside of work, Emily enjoys traveling by train, competing in triathlons, perfecting her at-home manicure skills, and unwinding with Bob's Burgers and a great cup of tea.
